Preparing for competitive exams is challenging, especially when it comes to the final stage – the interview. In response to the growing demand for offline interview preparation, Engineers’ Platform offers a unique opportunity for candidates preparing for HPSC interviews. This platform has become India's largest provider for online and offline interview sessions, group discussions, and group tasks specifically tailored for engineering graduates.
Why Engineers’ Platform Stands Out
Engineers’ Platform, based in Chandigarh, primarily conducts online mock interview sessions for candidates across the country. However, it recognizes the importance of in-person preparation, especially for candidates from neighboring states who find it convenient to attend offline sessions. In recent years, Engineers’ Career Point Platform has held offline interview sessions for various positions, such as the Assistant Environment Engineer, Assistant Engineer in Panchayati Raj, and similar roles under state-specific Public Service Commissions like PPSC, JKPSC, and HPPSC.
For HPSC aspirants, this is an invaluable resource for offline interview preparation, particularly for various technical and administrative positions.
Available Mock Interview Sessions
Engineers’ Platform provides mock sessions tailored to different domains, including:
• Assistant Engineer in Agriculture – This session is ideal for those interested in the Seed Development Corporation.
• Electrical Department – Aimed at candidates specializing in Electrical Engineering, particularly for roles in development and irrigation departments.
• Mechanical Engineering – Focusing on irrigation and water resources, these sessions are essential for candidates in mechanical engineering.
• Civil Engineering – Mock sessions for civil engineering aspirants cover technical and situational interview questions, offering hands-on experience.
The next HPSC interview is scheduled for October 28, so candidates are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
How to Register for a Mock Interview Session
Candidates can register for either an offline or online mock interview session by filling out a Google form provided in the video description. Offline sessions are an excellent way for candidates to get in-depth, one-on-one feedback, though online sessions provide flexibility and access to multiple mock sessions, which are otherwise limited offline.
Preparing for the Interview
Engineers’ Platform guides candidates through three essential components of interview preparation:
1. Introduction
The initial impression is critical. Candidates are advised to prepare a compelling introduction that gives a brief yet memorable overview of their professional identity. This part should set a positive tone, as follow-up questions typically stem from the introduction itself.
2. HR Round
The HR component explores a candidate's qualifications, career motivations, and reasons for choosing government service. Common HR questions include:
• Why do you want to join this department?
• What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
• If you’re currently in a private job, why are you considering a shift?
This round assesses whether the candidate is genuinely interested in public service and gauges their long-term commitment to the role.
3. Technical Questions
The technical component depends on the candidate’s job experience and area of expertise. For candidates currently working, questions will often relate to their past job experience, while for those with higher studies like a Master’s, questions may focus on thesis work or specific projects. Candidates preparing for technical questions should focus on their favorite subjects and be well-prepared to discuss them in detail.
Importance of Mock Interview Practice
Mock interview sessions offer essential practice in handling the range of questions one may face, particularly in the HR section, where candidates need to display confidence and honesty. Practicing through mock sessions not only builds interview skills but also reduces the likelihood of bluffing, as candidates learn to respond with clarity and truthfulness.
The Art of Interviewing
Effective interviewing is an art that can only be mastered through practice. With each mock session, candidates refine their answers, learn to handle tricky questions, and gain the confidence needed to excel in the actual interview.
For those interested in joining either offline or online sessions, simply fill out the form in the video description or reach out directly via the contact information provided in the video.
Conclusion
Engineers’ Platform offers an essential service for HPSC aspirants, providing both online and offline mock interview sessions. By participating, candidates gain confidence, improve communication skills, and increase their chances of success. For a comprehensive preparation experience, Engineers’ Platform is a valuable resource for engineering graduates aiming to excel in the competitive world of government service interviews.

INTRODUCTION
1. Good morning everyone, greetings of the day!
2. The topic of today’s discussion is “Global warming- causes, effects and solutions.”
3. One of the greatest threats of 21st century, is none other than – global warming. Global warming is heating up of earth due to presence of excessive amount of carbon dioxide and other green house emissions on the Earth leading to unpredictable natural disasters.
4. There are multiple causes, reasons of global warming and the major solutions can be discussed one by one.
5. So, now I would request my teammates to give their valuable suggestions and I open the house for discussion.
Causes of global warming:
1. Due to vast emission of green house gases, the temperature of earth is getting severely affected and raising with the passage of time.
2. Deforestation has been the biggest disaster, trees turn as the prime source in absorbing CO2 from the nature, but due to massive cutting of trees, there is less availability of trees and thus less source to absorb carbon dioxide i.e atmosphere traps more of sun’s heat.
3. Even the burning of fossil fuels for several needs such as transportation, has led to increase in share of greenhouse gases.
4. Increase in materialism has led to more production, which requires more energy and thus in return leading to the production of harmful gases; global warming.
5. The vehicles usage has increased at par, and thus paving way to excessive fossil fuel usage which is one of the prime factors of global warming.
Effects of Global warming:
1. Major difference can be witnessed in weather conditions, where winters are getting colder and summers are hotter. Even there has been an increase in natural disasters such as droughts, floods etc.
2. Due to unpredictable circumstances, many people and birds are forced to migrate to other areas.
3. Global warming has also resulted in melting of ice, which leads to increase in sea level. Also, more CO2 in water is affecting the marine life.
4. Even there has been increase in amount of pollutants in air, which is leading to widespread diseases in several people.
Solutions to global warming:
1. Planting more and more trees, can result in creating a balance of carbon dioxide in environment.
2. Prioritizing the usage of solar energy, wind energy as an alternative to burn fossil fuels, it can prevent further increase of greenhouse gases in atmosphere.
3. Sustainable and eco-friendly approach can definitely reverse global warming.
Conclusion:
1. On behalf of everyone, I would like to take the initiation to conclude the discussion
2. It was quite a healthy/fruitful/ discussion where all members exchanged their viewpoints.
3. Discuss some quotes/ viewpoints of your mates which you find quite good, try to mention the points which you have jotted down
4. Thankyou.
