Indian Oil Corporation Limited has announced IOCL Recruitment 2026 through Computer Based Test for Graduate Engineer, Diploma Engineer and Officer-level positions under Advertisement No. IOCL/CO-HR/RECTT/2026/01. Eligible engineering graduates can apply for disciplines such as Chemical, Civil, Computer Science & IT, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering, while opportunities are also available for Marketing, Law and Quality Control candidates. The recruitment also covers Diploma Engineer positions in disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical and Safety. The IOCL online application 2026 started on 14 August and will close on 3 September 2026 at 5:00 PM, with the admit card scheduled to be issued on 15 September and the CBT planned for 24 September 2026. The IOCL CBT consists of 100 objective questions, covering Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English Language and Domain Knowledge.
Candidates shortlisted through the CBT will move to Group Discussion, Group Task and Personal Interview, with CBT carrying 85% weightage, GD & GT 5% and Personal Interview 10% in the merit calculation. The maximum age for General/EWS candidates is 26 years for Graduate and Diploma Engineers, 28 years for Marketing Officers, and 30 years for Law Officers and Assistant Quality Control Officers, with applicable category relaxations. The application fee is ₹1,000 plus applicable GST for candidates other than SC/ST/PwBD categories, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee. Selected candidates can receive an approximate annual CTC of ₹18.4 lakh for Grade A, ₹14.8 lakh for Grade A0 and ₹11.1 lakh for Grade E0, along with applicable allowances and benefits as per IOCL rules.
